Vlady Cornateanu
President and Chief Executive Officer of Addiction

President and Co-Founder of FeedIt

Vlady Cornateanu is a graduate of Hebrew University with a MA in Archeology. He serves as the President and CEO of Addiction, an apparel sourcing and manufacturing company for private labels, and FeedIt, an exclusive student social network app for iOS and Android Devices.

Vlady was born in Romania and immigrated to Israel in his teens. While his studies in archeology originally brought him to the US, he now has over 26 years of manufacturing and consulting in the apparel industry.

His latest projects are a result of his extensive traveling in China for the many manufacturing needs. Sourcing at the major trade shows, both in China and Hong Kong, greatly enhanced his ability to locate the best factories for his clients.

In 2005, he started a new venture to bring US companies to China and introduce them to the vast business possibilities. The type of businesses ranged from manufacturing to investments to product development. His insight into China opened the way for companies without any prior knowledge to start businesses and prosper there.

In the same token, he is working with Chinese companies looking to expand into the US market and help them open their business in Los Angeles. The city provides many incentives to overseas companies that are opening facilities in the the county of Los Angeles.

One of Vlady’s latest projects was to organize and lead the 2016 Guangzhou - Los Angeles & Auckland Select Brands Exhibition. The 16 days shopping festival run from 29th of September to 14th October in Guangzhou. It provided a unique opportunity to showcase Los Angeles/US consumer products to hundreds of thousands of Guangzhou’s increasingly affluent consumers. The exhibition was held at Grandview Mall, the largest modern shopping center that perfectly integrates retail, recreation, dining, convention and exhibition, sports, tourism and business. The great success of this first of a kind festival was recognized in all Chinese media, prompting requests from many other shopping mall to duplicate this event. In the same time frame, Vlady is organizing the Canton Fair Fashion Shows during the October/November 120th run of the largest trade show in China.

Vlady’s has lived in in NY and then in Los Angeles since 1978. He has been back to Israel many times with his wife (a Hebrew U alumna) and his three sons. Two of Vlady’s sons graduated American Medical Schools in Israel and at the conclusion of their residencies are currently surgeons in different US hospitals. In addition to his current work, Vlady hopes to take on projects to strengthen Israel-China business relationships.
